EMS World Tour : safety

EMS are in charge of training public to BLS, in order to reduce the time beetween a patient health trouble and the arrival of first aid rescuers units almost important in heart attack for an earlier CPR.

In this way, EMS are trying to find ideas to inform public about BLS, CPR and since few AED.

They began by training police officers, house keepers, lifeguards, park rangers, utility workers, teachers, childcare workers and school bus drivers, worker-volunteers in a large facility (industrial plant), truck drivers, security guards, bodyguards, general aviation pilots and commercial flight attendants, sports coach, soldier, taxi drivers.

All those people have one target : to reduce waisting time waiting emergency services and enlarge the chance of survival.

Imagine that in a lot of countries (see first aid page), people that pass out have 6% chances to be well rescued by someone trained to basic BLS.
